Yağmur Şatana, born in 1963, is a graduate of TED Ankara College and Gazi University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Public Finance / Economics.

Between 1987 and 2011, he held various senior executive positions at QNB Finansbank A.Ş., serving domestically and internationally as Deputy General Manager and Acting General Manager in the fields of Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Project Finance, and Cash Management. During this period, he also served as Chairman of the Board at Fiba Factoring, Girişim Factoring, and Finans Yatırım, and as Vice Chairman of the Board at Finans Financial Leasing. In addition, he held positions as Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Board Member in a total of 16 group companies operating in the finance, real estate, tourism, ports, energy, and retail sectors.

In 2011, he joined the Demirören Group as Chairman of the Holding Executive Committee, where he worked in the energy, LPG, and fuel sectors, and also served as a Board Member at Milliyet and Vatan newspapers.

In 2012, Yağmur Şatana joined Kazancı Holding A.Ş. as a Board Member and, over the course of five years, served as Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Board Member in subsidiaries operating in the energy, generator, natural gas and electricity distribution, tourism, agriculture, and food & beverage sectors. In addition, he continues to serve as a Board Member at Detur International Holding B.V., which operates in the tourism sector.

In 2017, he was appointed CEO of Doğan Holding, where he continued his work as a Board Member across group companies in the media, television, energy, and finance sectors.

Currently, he serves as a Board Member in eight different companies operating in the iron and steel, textile, pharmaceutical, real estate, retail, food, information technologies, and capital markets sectors.

Throughout his career, Yağmur Şatana has led major transformation and change initiatives in the areas of balance sheet management, risk management, growth strategies, project finance, and marketing management. He is married and has one daughter.
